MIDDLESEX COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Virginia Code, § 15.2-1800, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the portion of their meeting which begins at 7:00 PM, to consider the following:

The Board of Supervisors is considering the conveyance of approximately a half-acre of County-owned property, identified as Tax Map # 27-122A, located at 2840 General Puller Hwy, Saluda, Virginia to Hampton Roads Sanitary District (HRSD) for the construction and operation of a pump station for a public sewer system to service Middlesex County citizens.

For a more particular description of the property described above, reference is hereby made to a plat prepared by Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd., titled “PLAT SHOWING 0.5277 ACRES AND 20’ ACCESS EASEMENT TO BE CONVEYED TO HAMPTON ROADS SANITATION DISTRICT (HRSD) ON A PORTION OF PROPERTY OF MIDDLESEX COUNTY, VIRGINIA”, dated August 6, 2021.

The public hearing will be held in the Board Room on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, 865 General Puller Highway, Saluda, VA.

Up to one business day prior to the meeting, written public comments can be emailed to s.traner@co.middlesex.va.us, mailed to the Middlesex County Administrator’s Office, PO Box 428, Saluda, VA 23149 or delivered to the Woodward Building,  County Administrator’s Office, 877 General Puller Highway, Second Floor, Saluda, VA 23149.   

All interested persons are encouraged to present their views.  Copies of the Deed and Plat are available for inspection in the Woodward Building, County Administrator’s Office, 877 General Puller Highway, Second Floor, Saluda, VA 23149.
