MIDDLESEX COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
October 9, 2012
The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice that on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter may be heard in the Middlesex Historic Courthouse located at 27 Court Street, Middlesex, Virginia, the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to solicit public comment regarding changes to Chapter 86, Litter Control Ordinance, of the Middlesex County Code of Ordinances, as follows:
Section 86-1. Short Title. To add and Public Nuisance to the Litter Control
Section 86-3. Definitions. To delete Abandoned Motor Vehicle and add Derelict
Building, Public Nuisance and Reasonable Notice.
Also, the proposed amendment would add the following sections:
Section 86-13. Public nuisance.
Section 86-14. Reasonable notice of public nuisance.
Section 86-15. Failure to abate public nuisance.
Section 86-16. Derelict structures.
Section 86-17. Violations and penalties.
The request and supporting documentation are on file in the Middlesex County Administrators Office, County Admini¬stration Building, 50 Brickbat Road, Middlesex, Virginia, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Any written correspondence or telephone inquiries concerning these matters should be directed to the County Administrators Office, P.O.
