Who
can register to vote in Virginia?

If
you are a US citizen, your home is in Virginia, and you are age 18 or older,
you can register to vote in Virginia. If you will be 18 by the next General
Election, you can register when you are 17. You first must have your voting
rights restored if you have been convicted of a felony or if you have been
judged mentally incapacitated by a circuit court.

can I register?

Anytime
of the year. To vote in a general or primary election you must register at
least 29 days before the election, if not already registered at your current
address.

can I register?

In
any voter registrar's office in Virginia. Voter registration may also take place at
offices of the Department of Motor Vehicles and certain other state
agencies. Middlesex County, citizens may pick up applications office of the General Registrar, Woodward Building Room 5, Saluda,
Middlesex
County Library-Urbanna & Deltaville Branches, Urbanna Town Office and
any local Post Office.

I register by mail?

Yes,
by competing and returning a voter registration application in the manner
and time provided by law.
CITIZENS WHO REGISTER BY MAIL AND ARE FIRST TIME VOTERS IN VIRGINIA MAY BE
REQUIRED TO VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY OR IN PERSON ABSENTEE AND SHOW
IDENTIFICATION.
