Over the coming weeks and months, Cowan assessors will be visiting properties across the County to verify property information and update assessment records. You may see assessors walking parcels, taking photographs, or measuring structures as part of their normal duties.

All Cowan staff conducting reassessments will carry official identification, and their vehicle descriptions have been provided to County offices and 911 Dispatch for verification.

What Residents Should Know

• Assessors may be on or near your property as part of the reassessment process.

• They will not request entry into your home.

• They will have County-approved photo ID identifying them as Cowan reassessment personnel.

• If you are unsure whether someone is an assessor, you may contact Middlesex 911 Dispatch (non-emergency) or the Commissioner's Office to confirm.
